Getting to know Steve Larman, our Account Executive

Since joining our team in 2005, Steve’s exceptional work ethic and strong interpersonal skills have resulted in him retaining more than 90% of his client base over the last 14 years. We recently sat down with Steve to find out more about his commitment to client services and how our culture brings out the best in our team.


What first attracted you to Turner Rawlinson as a company?

When I came for my interview 14 years ago, the team culture and the enthusiasm I felt gave me a good feeling that this was a forward-thinking company in which I would be encouraged to broaden my knowledge and further my own professional growth.



As Turner Rawlinson’s Account Executive, what does your role involve?

Assessing clients’ needs and making sure that all of their exposures are covered correctly, which includes exploring each client’s requirements and how they may evolve over time.


What key skills do you bring to your role?

I am a stickler for detail, and this lends itself well to ensuring that our clients are enjoying coverage that is appropriate to their unique needs. I am also determined and committed to delivering on our ethos that our clients’ needs are pivotal in ensuring that they are correctly placed with the best business-specific insurer.


Since joining Turner Rawlinson, what has been your biggest achievement?

My biggest achievement is retaining over 90% of my client base over the last 14 years.


What do you enjoy most about your job role?

I take great satisfaction in retaining the majority of my client base, which is a result of the strong and trusting relationships that I have built with clients and insurers alike. I listen to my clients’ wishes and needs and I take pride in supporting them along the way as they progress with their business plans.


How would you describe the culture at Turner Rawlinson?

Turner Rawlinson has a strong collaborative culture; ideas and experiences are shared so that we are all able to understand and contribute towards shaping Turner Rawlinson’s focus and services.


What are you passionate about?

I am passionate about delivering the best possible service for my clients and giving them the peace of mind of knowing that they are in good hands.


How do you like to spend your spare time?

I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and since my recent move to the countryside, I’ve been enjoying the great outdoors. I also enjoy watching Arsenal struggle every year to make the top four!


What can clients expect to see from Turner Rawlinson over the next year?

Continued growth and the same excellent service that they have come to expect.
